The Psychotherapy Hypnosis focuses on deep relaxation allowing the client to feel calm, positive, optimistic and confident. The deep relaxation sharpens the individual's mind and enables him/her to take control of the exisiting situation and make changes. The general aim of the therapy is to remove the causal origin of the presenting symptom. In order to achieve this the therapy sets out to clear mental blockages, in relation to the problem, to make conscious what is unconscious, fill gaps in the memory, remove conflicts in clients lives, break down defence mechanisms and enable clients to answer the question, ‘Why?’ in relation to the current problem. In this way the therapy enables clients to live their lives as they would wish. The therapist makes use of hypnosis as a tool for therapy when he feels that it would be beneficial to do so.
